1/72 Hell's Angel Biker

Yesterday I was at a friend's house where there was a board game in progress. The game's based on the a series called "Sons of Anarchy".

What  interested me most about the game wasn't really the game itself -  it's the fact that there were actual biker figures that looked to me to be roughly about 1/72 scale !

At the time I didn't have anything to compare it with, but when I got home I took a picture of a German BMW.

Looks about right doesn't it ? The Son of Anarchy guy could be a passable 20mm biker.Superb for modern-day / post-apoc games.

There's also another standing generic "hoodlum" who might come in handy too.  I took a look on internet and rather than buying the game, apparently you can get expansion sets with just the figures, so that might just end up on my next birthday wish list :-)

1/72 Scale / 20mm Plastic LOTR Figures

This was quite a find, these are 1/72 scale / 20mm scale plastic LOTR figures

You have all the main characters from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. It came in an dusty old Spanish boardgame that I found in a clearance offer in a big department store some months back.

The running figure with a club is a 1/72 scale Zvezda as a scale comparison.

Circus Maximus in 1/72 Scale

Iván Cáceres, another of my regular wargame opponents (he thrashed me in a game on Saturday just gone by the way, damn him), is also an avid 1/72 scale fan.

He's been working on updating the old board-game "Circus Máximus" into a version using miniatures.

The miniatures were painted by Iván and also by Carlos de la Concha.

The new "board" needs a centre-structure and some statues, spectators etc., so more photos to follow sometime in the near future when the table's finished.
